Col up front,Glastonbury 2011 BBC Introducing stage
"Tales of the Black House" is the new EP from Owl in the Sun. It is the second offering from the band who, from nowhere, ended up creating quite a stir in 2011. Lots of hard work saw the band play all over the country including a fantastic show at Glastonbury with BBC Introducing, and also a play-listing on BBC Radio1.
The EP is available here for download. It includes four songs that will stir your imagination with carefully constructed imagery and arrangement, rich vocal harmonies and melody whilst holding onto the raw feel of live studio recording. The songs show off how Owl in the Sun have progressed over the year and there is now a fantastic Video of them in session at The Riverside Studios. Videos are shot in association with Abject Productions.
"This is right up my street.....absolutely gorgeous" FEARNE COTTON, BBC Radio 1
"The band are brilliant!" GREG JAMES, BBC Radio 1 "Absolutely lovely" BOB HARRIS, BBC Radio 2 "Wittily written, artfully arranged and niftily played. I'm a big fan!" MARK KERMODE |
